Hello from the great state of Kentucky!  

WOW! This week is completely flying by.  It seems that happens continually these days.  Time is just getting away.  Life is challenging as we all know. These days, it's harder than ever to make ends meet and to pay those utility bills. So, we need to find good ways to stretch a dollar, as well as, enjoy life! Finding ways to live happier and to thrive in a world that can often be challenging isn't always easy.  We have to turn to the Father to help us. Its very important to me that we help others along the way when we can. After all, isn't that what life is about?  My son is so great about trying to do that.  I love that about Him.

The end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 has found this KY gal interested in online sales for obvious reasons.  I've started an online business for the first time, and it is rewarding.  I'm definitely not going to tell you that it's easy.  Starting your own business is work. One component to success is a high risk tolerance.

The business started off good.  It was really good through the Christmas month.  The month of Jan. has started off slower, so I am branching out to include new sales sites to go with the ones I started out with!  No matter how great your idea is, it will not flower by itself. You have to nurture it with lots of prayer and hard work!  Nurturing takes TIME. Lots and lots of time, attention, care and energy.

Keeping tabs on ways to afford the things that you need, and have a little left for those things you "want", is great. At the same time, we need to still leave room for spending quality time with the people and things we love.  

May the year of 2018 be blessed for all of us.  The key is trusting Christ and being willing to do what we can! To be effective, to be able to demonstrate our faith, and to earn rewards, we must have works.
